आज लक्ष्मीपूजा, देवी लक्ष्मीको पूजा आराधना गरिदैं, साँझमा भैलो खेलिने

काठमाडौं, कार्तिक १७ । यमपञ्चकको तेस्रो दिन आज देशभर धनधान्यकी देवी लक्ष्मीको पूजा आराधना गरी लक्ष्मीपूजा गरिंदैछ । बत्ती नबालेको घरमा लक्ष्मीले बास गर्दिनन् भन्ने भनाइ अनुसार आज घरको चारैतिर सफासुग्घर गरी दैलो, सङ्घार, झ्याल, ढोका, कौसी, अटाली, भ¥याङलगायतका ठाउँमा बत्ती बाली लक्ष्मीको स्वागत गरिन्छ । लक्ष्मीपूजाको रातलाई सुखरात्री पनि भन्ने गरिन्छ ।

आज साँझ मूलद्वारदेखि लक्ष्मी स्थापना गर्ने कोठासम्म रातोमाटोले पोतेर चामलको पीठो र अबिरले लक्ष्मीको पैताला बनाई केराको सुत्लामा बत्ती बाल्ने चलन छ । गृहिणीहरु साँझ दिपावली गरिसकेपछि लक्ष्मी थापेर गरगहना, पैसा, धान, चामल, फलफूल, रोटी र फूलमाला चढाई लक्ष्मीको मूर्ति वा तस्वीरमा पूजा गर्दछन् ।

लक्ष्मीपूजाका दिन लक्ष्मीको प्रतीक मानी छोरीको पूजा गर्ने चलन छ । लक्ष्मीपूजा गरेपछि त्यस दिन आफूसँग भएको पैसा वा अरु चल अचल सम्पत्ति बाहिर पठाए लक्ष्मी बाहिर जान्छिन् भन्ने लोकोक्ति छ । आज साँझ किशोर किशोरीले समूह बनाई घरघरमा भैलो खेल्छन् । यसरी भैलो माग्दै हिंड्ने समूहलाई धान, चामल, पैसा र नैबेद्य दिने चलन छ ।

आजै गाई तिहार पनि भएकोले घरघरमा लक्ष्मीको प्रतीक मानिने गाईको पूजा गरिदैछ । गाईको गोबर र गहुँतलाई धार्मिक हिसाबले पनि पवित्र मानिन्छ । जनै पूर्णिमामा लगाएको डोरो आजको दिन गाईको पुच्छरमा बाँधे सजिलै बैतरिणी तर्न सकिने विश्वास पनि छ । शहरमा गाई पाल्नेहरु निकै कम भएकोले मनिसहरु गाईको गोठ खोजी खोजी पूजा गर्छन् ।

Nepali New Year

The New Year in Nepal starts on Baishakh. Baishak is the first month of Bikram Sambat Calendar. Bikram Sambat is the official calendar of Nepal. Nepal celebrates nine different new years in different times of year.

This year Baishak 1st coincides with 15th of April of English calendar.  

Nepal has more than 60 ethnic groups with their own unique culture and most of them have their own language. In other words Nepal is a live example of unity in diversity. People of different cast and culture live in Nepal.  

We all have our own New Year and we celebrate 9 different new years. We celebrate each of them with same zeal and enthusiasm.  However, Baishakh 1st is regarded as national New Year, the country’s official calendar year starts this day.  

People plan picnic, tour and travel in this day. New Year is a fun day celebration. Friends and family gathers and organize picnic or day out.  Parks across the country are full of people with celebration. 

People make new resolution this day. Students plan their study schedule for the year. People exchange gifts and greeting cards.   

New year day is a public holiday in Nepal.

नरिवलको पानी खानु मान्छेको स्वास्थ्यका लागि लाभदायक छ भन्ने कुरा सबैलाई थाहा छ । यद्यपि यसले के के फाइदा पूराउँछ भन्ने इतिवृत्त सबैलाई थाहा नहुन सक्छ ।

अझ नरिवलको पानी खानु पुरुषको लागि भन्दा महिलाको लागि बढि फाइदाजनक हुन्छ भन्ने कुरा थाहै नहुन पनि सक्छ । तर अनुसन्धानले के देखाएको छ भने नरिवलको पानी महिलाको स्वास्थ्यका लागि निकै लाभदायक हुन्छ । पिसाब पोल्ने, सरीरमा पानीको कमी अर्थात् डिहाइड्रेसन हुने समस्याबाट मुक्ति पाउन मात्र होइन छालाको सुन्दरता र स्वास्थ्यका साथै मोटोपन घटाउन समेत नरिवलको पानी कामयाबी हुन्छ ।

अझ गर्भवती महिलाका लागि नरिवलको पानी पिउनै झनै फाइदाजनक हुने बताइएको छ । नरिवलको पानीले महिलामा पूराउने अन्य लाभ यसप्रकार छन्:

• नरिवलको पानी पिउनाले गर्भवती महिलामा बिहानपख हुने बान्ता रोक्न सघाउ पूराउँछ । नरिवलको पानीमा हुने विभिन्न प्रकारका लवणहरु, भिटामिन सी लगायतका तत्व गर्भवती महिला र गर्भको बच्चालाई निकै फाइदा पूराउँछन् ।

• नरिवलको पानी नियमित पिउने महिलामा मुत्रनलीको संक्रमणको खतरा पनि कम हुन्छ । यसले ढुसी पैदा गर्ने व्याक्टेरियालाई मारिदिन्छ । त्यसैले पिसाब सम्बन्धी समस्या भएका महिलाले पनि दैनिक नरिवलको पानी पिउनु निकै उत्तम मानिन्छ ।

• सरीरमा पानीको आपूर्तिलाई सन्तुलित गर्न र विषाक्त तत्वलाई बाहिर ल्याउन नरिवलको पानीले सहयोग पूराउँछ ।

• नरिवलको पानीले वजन नियन्त्रण अर्थात् मोटोपन घटाउन सहयोग गर्छ । नरिवलको पानी पिउनाले सरीरमा जमेको अनावश्यक बोँसो घटाउनुका साथै रगतमा कोलेस्टेरोलको मात्रा पनि कम गर्छ ।

• नरिवलको पानीको नियमित सेवन गर्नाले छाला स्वस्थ तथा सुन्दर बन्छ ।
