Bhote jatra is being observed today in Kathmandu valley, Sunday. The
government has decided to grant a public holiday across the Kathmandu
Valley to celebrate the day.
The holiday was declared for the celebration of the much-anticipated Bhote Jatra, a famous Newari festival, celebrated especially in the Kathmandu Valley.
